Riyad was originally a prince of a desert empire. He was the fifth of forty-seven children, and became the commander of an elite geurilla fighting unit in the imperial army in order to escape a role in politics.

I forgot to color in his teeth, so it looks like they're rotting. :\ Really, he has very good oral hygiene. Do not be fooled.
